  Do I need to bring my own ammunition?  
 
It is recommended that you bring your own ammunition, although Briar Rabbit may have limited amounts of ammunition for sale.
 
  Do I need eye and hearing protection?  
 

Absolutely. Safety is a first at Briar Rabbit. Eye protection is required for spectators as well as shooters. Ear proection is also required for shooters. Briar Rabbit sells both earplugs and shooting glasses.

 
     
  Do I need to bring my own targets for the rifle or pistol range?  
 

Briar Rabbit's rifle range is only open to members only. For information on becoming a member, please click here or call 740-454-3817.

Briar Rabbit's pistol range is open to the public.

Attention Rifle Range shooters: You need to bring your own targets and target stands. Briar Rabbit provides shooting benches. The most convenient are the 'Jammit' targets by MTM (see additional information here) which are available at most local gun stores and sporting good retailers. In addition to bringing target stands, some folks bring extra targets and a staple gun.

What hours are you open?

 
 
We are currently open Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. However, for parties of 4 or more, we will open any day of the week. Please call Joe at 740-454-3817 to arrange.
 
  Does Briar Rabbit rent Firearms?  
 
Unfortunetely, Briar Rabbit does not have firearms for rent. We do occassionally provide loaners.
 
  Is Briar Rabbit a place where my church group or organization can come?  
 
Absolutely! Briar Rabbit welcomes organizations! A day on one of our many courses, whether sporting clays, 5-stand, pistol, or rifle, can be a great outing for any organization! Call Joe at 740-454-3817 for more details!
 
  I've got a shotgun/pistol/rifle laying around the house somewhere- but I haven't shot in years. Is Briar Rabbit the place for me?  
 

Absolutely! Briar Rabbit offers safety refresher courses as well as the wobble- a great place to practice on and rehone those shotgun skills, a rifle range with targets from 50 to 400 yards, and a great pistol range featuring paper, steel, and steel reactionary targets!.
